In order to provide our services and conduct our business activities smoothly, we obtain and use personal information of our clients, business partners, and other people related to our business. We recognize the protection of such personal information as an important corporate social responsibility, and in order to fulfill this responsibility, we handle personal information in accordance with the following policy.

Implementation and continuous improvement of personal information protection regulations

Gyoseishoshi Lawyers are obligated to maintain confidentiality under the Gyoseishoshi Law. Financial planners and inheritance diagnosticians are also required to observe confidentiality obligations as part of their professional code of ethics. In accordance with the law and our code of ethics, we will steadily comply with the various rules and regulations regarding the protection of personal information, and will strive for continuous improvement.

Appropriate Acquisition and Use of Personal Information

We will handle personal information appropriately in accordance with the prescribed rules and regulations regarding the acquisition and use of personal information. We will not use the information provided by our clients for any purpose other than that for which it was requested. After the work is completed, we will properly destroy the information after the retention period stipulated by law has elapsed.

Ensuring the security of personal information

In order to ensure the accuracy and safety of personal information, we will comply with information security rules and regulations, and strive to prevent unauthorized access to personal information and the loss, destruction, falsification, and leakage of personal information. Gyoseishoshi lawyers can prepare documents to be submitted to public offices, prepare documents concerning rights and obligations, prepare documents concerning proof of facts, and provide consultation, representation, and agency services, but they cannot provide services "restricted by other laws".

We provide administrative scrivener services to the extent that they do not conflict with the respective laws and regulations, and if necessary or desired, we will accept work jointly with other professionals or introduce other professionals to our clients.
